THANK ME LATER
When I first started this whole jewelry thing, it began as a hobby. was tired of running to the mall looking for the perfect accessories to match my outfit. It seemed as if I could never find exactly what I was looking for. With that being said, I decided to start making my own jewelry. I started by dissecting the costume jewelry I had purchased and reconstructing it, creating my own new designs. Once, I 
mastered that, I took a one-on-one class on jewelry making basics at my local bead gallery. I wore my very first masterpiece that day. a 24" black agate stone necklace with silver & black spacing beads. The necklace was absolutley gorgeous. I ran into an elderly woman at the bank admiring my necklace. She agreed to pay me generously if I gave the necklace to her. I debated. Finally, unhooked the necklace and handed it over to the woman & in return she gave me $200. God must have known how much I needed the money that day. I was so grateful. I never got a chance to take down her name and number but I hope to run into her again one day soon. The next day, I went back to the bead gallery & made another necklace almost identical to the first which is now on display at the Couture Boutique in Cheektowaga. Now that I have combined my creativity with the art of jewelry making ...
